We are the Gollotte family. We have been blessed with our son who is 4 years old, our daughter from Ethiopia who is 3 years old and our new daughter who was born at the end of May. We love God, life, family, and fun. Join us and find out what it is like growing up Gollotte.

Our Adoption Process
Our Agency: All God's Children International
After over 5 months of waiting, we got our referral for a 8 month baby girl. On Dec. 23rd we passed court and are officially the parents our of a beautiful 10 1/2 month old.
We waited 2 months and one week for our travel dates and traveled to Ethiopia Jan. 25-29th to bring her home. Two weeks after coming home, she turned 1 year old.
After over 5 months of waiting, we got our referral for a 8 month baby girl. On Dec. 23rd we passed court and are officially the parents our of a beautiful 10 1/2 month old.

Adoption Time Line
Our entire adoption process took just about a year, but this had been a dream of ours for many years before that.
Januray 30, 2009 - Arrived home in Atlanta and started our adjustment and bonding as a family of 4.
January 26, 2009 - Met Fi for the first time when we picked her up at the orphanage.
Januray 24, 2009 - Said goodbye to T and flew out of Atlanta to DC and then on to Ethiopia.
December 31, 2008 - Got our travel dates. We will be in Ethiopia during the week of Jan. 25-29th.
December 23, 2008 - We pass our court date in Ethiopia and are officially parents to our beautiful 10 month old daughter!
October 21, 2008 - Got our referral for an 8 month old baby girl! She is beautiful. We had waited 5 months and 2 weeks for our referral.
October 17, 2008 - Moved to number 1
October 6, 2008 - Moved to number 6 on the wait list.
September 4, 2008 – Moved to number 10 on the wait list
August 16, 2008 – AGCI Picnic and we got our approval letter from CSI
July 31, 2008 - Got fingerprint appointments for the rest of the family. Little did we know that our future daughter had just been found and brought to Hannah's Hope orphanage in Ethiopia.
July 15, 2008 - Moved to number 15 on waiting list and sent in request for CIS fingerprints for the 5th time.
May 7, 2008 - Dossier accepted by AGCI, got on referral waiting for a girl, number 30
April 2008 - Home Study done and Dossier sent off to AGCI
March 24, 2008 - Final home visit by social worker
March 8, 2008 - Had to build a wall and create another bedroom in order to be able to adopt a girl
Feb 14, 2008 - Signed and sent in contracts for AGCI
Feb 2008 - Got accepted by local agencies and started on the home study process
End of Jan 2008 - Sent in application to All God's Children and local adoption agency for home study
December 2007 - Decided to start the adoption process in Jan.
Fall 2007 - Started praying about when to start adopting
September 2004 - Our first date, we discussed wanting to adopt at least two of our future children (not kidding)
1995 - Sarah decides that she wants to adopt at least 10 kids (number has gone down over the years)

Awesome. Happy birthday Clark! Now that you are 30, buy a large bottle of Tylenol extra strength....our bodies start to hurt for some reason when they didn't before....yay to aging. :)

Happy birthday, Clark! I second the recommendation to get some Tylenol. Make sure you stretch before doing anything--the 30s are not kind to us physically.
